I caught this 9 lb. red fish just before a tropical depression that skimmed my area of the west coast of Florida July 23, 2010. He ate a hammered gold spoon. I caught him on a Hobie Pro Angler Kayak just like the one featured in Exmark's Gear Giveaway promotion. You can sign up to win a Hobie Pro Angler and other great prizes on this Website. See you at our next tour stop, the Forrest Wood Cup in Atlanta!

This picture was taken with my 11 month old Golden Retriever, Bucky, on both of our first duck hunt, ever! This mallard was downed and Bucky chased him through the rushes of the marsh, eventually bringing him back to me. We learned a lot duck hunting last fall and pheasant hunting through April. Now it's training time and looking forward to seeing some birds next year. When we're not hunting I'm busy selling Exmarks in our dealership and Bucky loves riding up front while I mow.

Well, My name is Daniel Silvey! They call me "THE DRAGON" here in Alabama! I sell eXmark mowers! I mow commercially with eXmark mowers and it is a well known fact in ALABAMA that I mow grass "FASTER" than YOU! I was born to mow! I won this trip with eXmark selling over 3 times the required figure to qualify. This Wahoo was caught in the Dominican Republic. We fought huge waves! I soon was the only one fishing! The Exmark reps were vomiting all over the place! One rep was so bad I was actually going to knock him in the head to knock him out until we made it too shore! The seas were too rough, so I told the captain to turn the boat around! Our fishing trip was over, but I meet some great people! I am a blessed man!
Thank You!

Well, this photo was taken on labor day morning right at the crack of dawn! The Dragonettes and I were fishing at Thorton Lakes in Ball Play, Alabama! Each girl headed out on Butch Thorton's personal lake with spinning reals and Jitter Bugs! This was the girls first experience with top water baits! BAM! BAM! They both had one on each line at the same time! We caught and released 30 or so fish in a one our period! One right after the other fishing top water! As the sun came up the top water fishing came to a hault and we headed toward the house! The ladies are now obsessed with top water fishing and they are good at it to! Thorton Lakes has some of the biggest bass around! He charges a fair price to fish and I know it will be the best money you will ever spend! Oh, and for all of you out there that do not know me, I am the "FASTEST CUTTER" nationwide and that is a fact! I sell mowers and mow grass in Gadsden, Alabama at Working Man Rentals! If you have any questions or just want to chat about lawn mowers, feel free to call me @ 256-613-4539. I mow grass and catch fish in my sleep! I was Born to Mow! Thank you for your time!

We will be giving away a brand new Hobie Pro Angler as one of our promotions for the 2010 Exmark Outdoors tour. Hope to see you at one of our upcoming events. Cheers, Ian.

Exmark and Team Backwoods teamed up on a Northern Saskatchewan black bear hunt the week of June 1. The action was fast paced and unpredictable! The late spring made for challenging conditions for our outfitter, Bruin's Claw. The camp went 9 for 9 and included 2 Boone & Crocket and 3 Pope & Young qualifiers! Keep an eye out on Backwoodstv.com for video of this and other exciting hunts. This was my first bear and I couldn't be more excited!

Spring topwater fishing is going off at Lake Lanier in north suburban Atlanta these days. Luckily our office is a mere 6 miles from the action so we went out for a little morning fishing before work last week and it was on. Here's a video clip of a 15+lb striper that couldn't resist a spook! J and I caught about 10 spots and stripers between us in 2 hours and had another 10 or more bites to boot. Fun stuff! Get out and GO FISHING! View the movie clip.

My name is Todd Schroeder and I work with Exmark on Distributor and Dealer information systems. This picture is my nephew, Trey Schroeder, with the Walleye he bagged at a recent tournament on Bull Shoals in Arkansas. Trey caught a 22" and a 26" on a smoke colored grub.
Trey has been the most intense fisherman you've ever met since the age of two. He is nine years old and is a well rounded fisherman who knows his way around his hometown Missouri Ozark lakes and streams.

I just got back home to Florida from the first leg of the tour 2 weeks ago.
Yesterday, out on the flats, I caught this slot redfish using threadfin herrings for bait caught with my cast net.
I intend to get a lot of fishing in before I head back out on the road with the Exmark tour the second week in July.
Hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!

Here are a few photos captured on a recent trip to Texas. My friend—and fellow ADventure colleague— Eric Rogers and I landed these two 30+ inch reds off Corpus Christi. The other photo is of a typical 4 pound Texas bass ... this one was caught at Lake Falcon, one of the nation's premiere bass fisheries.

MISSOULA, Mont.-The Boone and Crockett Club's recent announcement of a new World's Record elk has generated unprecedented news coverage as well as public craving for details about the giant bull.
Taken in 2008 by a hunter on public land in Utah, it is the only elk on record with a gross antler score approaching the 500-inch mark, at 499-3/8. Official data dates back to 1830.
"It's been crazy. People across the country, including many non-hunters, are flooding the B&C headquarters with requests for more information about the new record elk, the habitat that produced it, the hunter's role in conservation and our system of records keeping. It's an educational moment unlike anything we've seen in years," said Tony Schoonen, chief of staff for the Club. Read More (Photo from Boone & Crockett Club)

FEB 02 2009 Submitted By: jill From: The Fishing Wire.com New York State Walleye Record Broken -
Cattaraugus County Ice Angler Catches Record Fish
The start of 2009 marked the first record-breaking fish caught in New York State since 2007. Fishing with tip-ups, Thomas Reed of Kill Buck, New York pulled a 16 pound 9 ounce walleye through the ice on Mystic Lake on January 20th. Located in Cattaraugus County, Mystic Lake sits along Tunungwant Creek, a tributary of the Allegheny River.
"Reed's walleye surpassed the now historic 1994 state record by 2 ounces, which was caught from the Allegheny Reservoir, also in Cattaraugus County,"said New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Regional Fisheries Manager Paul McKeown. "Very few state records have been broken during ice fishing season."
Reed's walleye was brought into New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC's) office for inspection, where fisheries biologists estimated the fish to be over 20 years old.

JAN 12 2009 Submitted By: Jill From: Golden, CO The McNair Monster Muskie
From Jim Shepherd, The Fishing Wire
The following report is from Gary A. Engberg of Mazomanie, Wisconsin. An outdoor journalist and angling expert in his own right, Engberg made The Fishing Wire aware of the potential world record that has anglers in the United States and Canada talking.
Canadian angler Dale MacNair caught and released a muskie of huge proportions on November 28, 2008 that may have been a true "fish of a lifetime". His monster muskie measured 57 inches long with a girth of 33 inches. You can take any of the accepted formulas for figuring the weight of a released fish and this muskie adds up to be one of the largest fish ever caught and most likely the largest muskie ever released.
